Raleigh Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure: The purpose of FUN; is to have SOME!

Tobacco Road Tours: www.tobaccoroadtours.com

As a child growing up in 1970’s I delighted in watching Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone television series and the great science-fiction films of that period.  Meanwhile I have come to greatly appreciate the magnificent history of North Carolina. The history of the state – indeed, the history of British America – began on the soil of North Carolina with Sir Walter Raleigh’s colonization attempts, which resulted in the Lost Colony of Roanoke in the 1580’s. Ironically, our history as Tar Heels began with a haunting mystery that remains unresolved to this day.

When the European traditions of ghosts, witches, demons, and the like were brought to America, they landed on the shores of North Carolina. And it was on our soil that settlers documented some of the first encounters with the supernatural in America. But long before the arrival of European settlers, North Carolina was the domain of various Indian peoples. Theirs is a history replete with tales of the paranormal and supernatural.

Because North Carolina has been a significant part of the American experience from the very beginning, it has emerged as one the most historic places in the United States. And where there is history, ghosts and other elements of the paranormal can usually be found. As a longtime student of Old North State, I can assure our guests that North Carolina has a haunted heritage, one rich in the paranormal.

Do you believe in ghosts and creature of the night? Whether your answer is yes or no, almost everyone enjoys a ghost story or an inexplicable tale of the unusual. And when that narrative has as its basis real people, actual places and recorded events, it becomes more enjoyable because it hints at credibility and believability.

Sprawling between the expansive coastal plains and the lofty peaks of the mountains of the populous North Carolina Piedmont. The majority of the state’s eight million-plus citizens call this region home. Lurking among this cloud of humanity is a sizeable population of spirits and unknown entities that we refer to as Piedmont “Capital City” Phantoms. Their haunted realm awaits you on this lively Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure.  We look forward to having you as our guest!

Join us for this fun 2.5 hour tour where you obtain special treatment at 3 to 4 of downtown Raleigh’s latest, hip and clever bars & pubs! You will hear of paranormal experiences and time honored haunted ghost story of two of Raleigh’s known haunted houses (Capitol), & an old luxury hotel (burned down in 1928).

Raleigh’s first Irish pub, a spectacular roof view from one of the hottest new clubs in town and an upstart that is really taking the downtown bar scene by storm, plus a few options for our special guests. Put a group together and have the time of your life or death! Eight (8) guest minimum.

Note: All guests are required to sign a waiver of liability form prior to tour.

The Pub Crawl is limited by group size & departure times, however we have entertained many groups and can run two simultaneous tours.
