How do we purchase tickets?

What happens if it rains or snows?
Our tours go on rain or shine. We suggest your bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.
When does your tour shut down for the season?
We operate our tours year round.
Are your tours appropriate for children?
Yes, our tours are appropriate for children 8 years old and up. The exception is our Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure (Durham & Raleigh) which you must be at least 21 years of age.
Are your routes accessible with wheelchairs or strollers?
All our routes are wheelchair and stroller friendly. Please keep in mind that our walking tours consist of at least one mile and some are 1.5 miles of walking.
What makes your tour different from the other ghost/haunting/paranormal tours?
We are vastly different from all the other tours in many ways. Our guides are informative and enthusiastic! Each of our professional storytellers have their own distinct style, all of which take you away from all the noise and traffic.
During late September, all of October and part of November, TRT provides several tour date and time options. Private tours are not available on October 30th & 31st. In addition, we are happy to provide you with a “private” tour. Private tours have a minimum of 10+ guests. Can you guarantee that I will see a ghost?
While we cannot insure that you will see a ghost while on our tour, make sure to take photos along the route – you may catch an orb or ghostly figure as other guests have in the past.
Is there a lot of walking on your tour?
The Raleigh Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour and Durham Dark & Mysterious Ghost Walk is 1.5 miles total. However, the tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and there are five stops along the route. Some destinations even have benches or seating along the way.
Are we permitted to take photos while on the tour?
Absolutely! In fact we highly encourage it as you may very well capture a ghostly image (Orb) or two!!
