You think you know Raleigh? You’re DEAD wrong. Explore the dark side of the Capital City on the Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure Tour! Learn about Raleigh’s strange and sordid past. Discover chilling tales of scandal and murder on the blood-stained streets of this picturesque town! You’ll laugh; you’ll scream! You’ll learn why Raleigh is the most haunted city in the country… that no one is talking about.
Raleigh is the home of Capital Phantoms, the Yarborough Hotel Ghosts and the Moore’s Square haunting. On this tour you’ll spend approximately 25 minutes in three of Raleigh’s hottest, hip bars and pubs! This is a fun tour for a date night, a group of friends, girls or guys night out on the town.
We’ll meet at the fabulous Tulum Mexican Restaurant on Fayetteville St. It’s a great place to grab dinner before you head out on the Raleigh Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure Tour. If you choose to grab dinner or a drink before the tour (smart move), enjoy made-from-scratch Mexican food with Mayan influence at everyday prices. Make sure you taste one of their famous margaritas!
Here are a few of the Raleigh Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure Tour’s stops, but routes and bars are subject to change.
We’ll make our way over to a popular spot in downtown Raleigh’s Moore Square area. This is the place to experience a good tall glass of beer at London Bridge Pub. We often venture over to a unique location near Nash Square – Imurji – a place where art and libations meet. Woody’s , Circa 1888 , the Anchor Bar and Clouds Brewing are a few other places we stop. More stops are being added.
Some of the bars serve a popular beverage created from a 240-year-old recipe: Cherry Bounce ! This is wickedly delicious Bourbon soaked in fresh cherries (w/the pits); mulling spices then fermented over 3 months. Yum yum!
Between each bar, we take you to three haunted, ghost & paranormal locations. You’ll get a chance to see, learn and experience some great historical places and cultural offering in downtown Raleigh. You get three ghost locations, four bars in a 2.5 hour tour for a fast paced evening. We must mention that alcoholic beverages are not included in the tour price.
